Priča filma je vezana uz sudbinu Aide, nekadašnje profesorice, koja radi kao prevoditeljica za Nizozemski bataljun, odnosno mirovne snage UN-a, čiji je zadatak bio čuvanje takozvane sigurnosne zone – Srebrenice. Kada su Mladićeve trupe ušle u grad, Aidin muž i dva sina traže spas u UN-ovoj vojarni u Potočarima. Aida pokušava da ih tu zadrži i da ih spasi. Deutsche Welle
